He says it is the biggest moment of his career. You can build a mystique and have Paul Heyman behind him. Brock has backed it up, but Roman says that he can beat Brock. Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring and he is accompanied by Joey Mercury, Jamie Noble, and his briefcase.

We see Seth Rollins interrupting the Daily Show last week.

Seth says that he has just received word that New Jersey’s own Jon Stewart has wrapped up his comedy show and he is on his way to Raw to confront him. He tells Jon that he knows he is watching. If you are not on your way to get down on your knees to beg forgiveness, you should turn around and not show up. Seth says that he is not some comedy foil. This is not a Jerry Lawler/Andy Kaufman situation.

Seth says that he is going to show everyone that he can do his job better than Stewart can. He is the future of the WWE, he is Mr. Money in the Bank, and he is the shining jewel of the Authority. Every person in the crowd paid to see Seth Rollins because they do not hand out free tickets like they do for The Daily Show.

Roman Reigns interrupts Seth and says that he wants to hear everyone tell Seth that he sucks live.

Seth says that before he was so rudely interrupted, that he is worth more than Michael Jordan. He can out work everybody. He can out-talk Jon Stewart, he can out rap Wiz Kalifa, and he can out eat Mark Henry. Since you are out here, he can outwrestle you.

Seth, not Roman, is going to be the next WWE Champion. Seth stops Roman from saying he is going to be the next WWE Champion. Jersey agrees with him because you cannot beat Brock Lesnar. Seth says that he has been in the ring with Brock and with you. Brock is a near indestructible force. Seth says that he can beat Brock Lesnar and he can beat you.

Roman asks Seth if he can beat Brock Lesnar. Last time he checked, you had a chance at the Royal Rumble, but you couldn’t get the job done. He wants to know if Seth is man enough to cash in the contract and beat him and Brock Lesnar in a Triple Threat match in the main event of Wrestlemania?

Seth says that he could do that . . . or he can wait until you and Brock tear each other to pieces and then maybe he can cash in on whoever is left standing. Or maybe he can wait until the night after Wrestlemania when the entire world watches the fallout of Wrestlemania. Maybe he can bide his time and cash in when the champ least expects it.

Roman says that he can punch Seth in his mouth.

Rollins pushes Reigns and Reigns punches Rollins and then he hits a Superman punch on Noble and a spear to Mercury.

Roman vs. Seth is announced for later tonight.

Roman Reigns’ music plays and he makes his way to the ring because it is time for the main event.

Paul goes to the back as we go to commercial.

The announcers talk about the main event at Wrestlemania and then they talk about how Byron had an opportunity to talk to Roman Reigns earlier. We go to the interview.

Byron congratulates Roman on his victory at Sunday against Daniel Bryan. Roman says it was one of the hardest fought matches of his career. Daniel is an aggressive guy. Daniel knows what it takes to get where he is going. Roman says that he is going to Brock Lesnar and he will beat Brock at Wrestlemania. Byron brings up what Paul Heyman said to Roman on Raw and we see footage.

Roman says that Paul Heyman talks non-stop. The only thing that he can think about is that he ‘can’t’ slay the beast. He hates hearing the word ‘can’t’. He can beat Brock Lesnar. Byron asks how is Roman preparing for his match.

Roman says he hasn’t taken a cruise in a long time so maybe he will get on a boat and have a few tropical drinks. Roman says seriously he has to train harder than he ever had before. He has to become stronger, faster, and watch tapes of old matches of Brock’s. It will not be athleticism that will beat Brock Lesnar. He cannot leave any stone unturned. Brock has been on the grandest stage of them all.

Brock has main evented Wrestlemania before. Roman says that he usually doesn’t want help and likes to do it on his own. Roman says that he needs to tap into his resources. He needs to talk to his family and talk to people who have taken that path before. Roman says that he can be very cocky and egotistical.

Roman says that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The bubble can be burst at any time. Roman says that he has had to fight to keep this opportunity. He says that he hopes that Brock is cocky and confident. He hopes that Brock is bouncing around with those arrogant eyes. Brock will be looking at a man fighting for a proud family and representing a proud family. He is going to be building a future for his family.

Roman says that he is going to beat Brock Lesnar and he does not care if you believe it because he knows it and he is going to prove it.

Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring and he has something to say.

Roman says that he is not going to lie. It has been one hell of a month. It started with the Royal Rumble. He went through 29 men to win the match and apparently that wasn’t good enough. Last night, he had a number one contender match against Daniel Bryan and he did exactly what he said he would do. He would walk out and be the winner.

Roman says that he is going to Wrestlemania. He says that he can hear you all month. You were rooting for the other guy. To all of his doubters . . .

The Other Guy makes his way to the ring and he looks a lot like Daniel Bryan.

Daniel makes his way to the ring and he has something to say. Daniel says he didn’t mean to interrupt . . . well he did mean to interrupt. It is because you mentioned the ‘doubters’. He says he saw Roman win the Royal Rumble match. Daniel says he knew that Roman deserved a chance to main event Wrestlemania.

Daniel says he felt like all of these people and he booed and booed and booed. While a lot people see promise and potential in Roman Reigns, the biggest Roman Reigns doubter is Daniel Bryan. When they talk about promise and potential, they talk about size and strength and athletic ability.

Daniel asks if Roman knows how many people have that with half the heart he has. That is what the people see and that is why they like Daniel Bryan, but they don’t like you. That is why he didn’t like Roman.

Last night, he had an opportunity. If he beat Roman, he would go back to Wrestlemania to win the title he never lost. He gave it every single thing he had and he gave things he didn’t know he had. He dug down as deep as he could and he couldn’t do it. Daniel says he doesn’t regret a thing because he gave it every single thing he had. It wasn’t him. Roman proved to him that he had more heart than he thought Roman ever did. Daniel says that they know they fought and he fought with everything he had, but Roman beat him.

Daniel says he put it all on the table and all he has to say is . . . congratulations. If there is one person he wants to team with in the main event against Randy Orton and Seth Rollins, it is Roman. He tells Roman to beat the crap out of Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.

Paul Heyman makes his way out while Daniel Bryan goes up the ramp and Bryan walks past Paul.

Paul introduces himself and he says that you think he is here to cause trouble this evening. Paul says that he is here to congratulate Roman and they shake hands. Paul says that was a hell of a main event last night. It was an even more impressive victory by the man who is the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Paul says that he cannot say that he is surprised.

If you think about it, Paul says that his money would always be on Roman Reigns no matter what man you would face today, or in history. Only a fool would say that you are not the one. Only an idiot would not see that you are different. That you are head and shoulders above the rest. Roman versus Bruno Sammartino in 1975, he would have his money on Roman Reigns. Roman versus Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant in 1987, his money would be on Roman. Roman versus Steve Austin in 1998, Rock in 1999, HHH in 2000, or John Cena any time in the last 13 years, his money would be on Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns against 29 other people at the Royal Rumble, his money WAS on Roman Reigns. Last night at Fastlane, Roman Reigns versus Daniel Bryan . . . his money was on Roman Reigns. It is a very simple thing. You can see what he is laying out. You are the guy. Roman Reigns versus any other guy in history, his money is on Roman Reigns. You are the right guy in the right place . . . at the wrong time.

You are not fighting a man at Wrestlemania. You are fighting a BEAST. Roman, he has so much respect for you, but you can’t slay his beast. You can’t conquer the conqueror. You can be the one to beat the one in twenty-one and one. Any other time in history, my money would be on Roman Reigns. At Wrestlemania, his money is on his client. At the end of the main event, there will be an announcement. THE only title that means anything will be held above the head of the winner and . . . STILL REIGNING and Undisputed WWE Champion of the World . . . BROCK LESNAR.

Roman tells Paul to stand right in the center of the ring. He wants Paul to tell him that he can’t. He says that he has been hearing this a lot. He has had doubters. He wants more motivation from Paul. You were there the night after the Royal Rumble. You witnessed him face to face with BROCK LESNAR. He told Brock that he will respect him. He doesn’t care if Brock respects him. It was just to get his Samoan blood boiling. He will tell Paul what he told Brock.

He is going to beat Brock at Wrestlemania. It is not about beating him. It is not about respect any more. It is the way he will beat him. When Brock is done, he ain’t gonna like him anyway. He tells Paul to B’Lee That.

Bryan sends Rollins back in and Joey gets on the apron to distract the referee and Rollins crotches Bryan. Rollins gets a near fall. Bryan tags himself in and he hits the flying knee for the three count.

Winners: Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns

After the match, Bryan and Reigns celebrate their victory briefly before leaving the ring. The referee checks on Rollins and Orton is not in a good mood.

We see Orton in the ring and Rollins is down in a position where Orton has been known to go for a field goal kick to the head. Orton is stopped by Noble and Noble gets an RKO. Mercury falls into the corner.

Orton puts Rollins in the corner and he walks away.

Rollins is in shock as we go to credits.

February 18th, 2015  | Posted by: | Filed Under: Articles,Roman News

WWE fans love to hate Roman Reigns right now. Even though the powerful wrestler is in line to main event WrestleMania in March, the majority of the WWE Universe can’t wait to criticize the superstar and comment on what he lacks.

For the most part, WWE fans are right. Reigns lacks presence on the mic and can’t seem to string a sentence together without tripping over himself.

However, WWE legend Ric Flair has another view and that includes WWE fans inability to see past his ties to The Rock.

WHY IS ROMAN HATED?

Flair feels that Roman Reigns’ relation to The Rock has somewhat hindered his popularity, with the legendary wrestler claiming that fans simply expect him to be as good as The Rock already. Something which Flair explained is totally unreasonable in an exclusive interview with GiveMeSport this week.

“I don’t pay a lot of attention to him talking on the mic but I think he’s okay. Fans look at Roman and they want him to sound like The Rock and that isn’t going to happen,” Ric Flair explained in an exclusive interview with GiveMeSport.

“The Rock didn’t become The Rock overnight either though. It took him a few years as well to nail down who he was and what he was about.”

BRIGHT FUTURE FOR REIGNS

Even though Roman Reigns may have his haters now, Ric Flair maintains that the superstar has a bright future. Flair says that nailing down your ‘act’ can take a couple of years and he insists it took all the greats including himself a lot of time to become the legends they are today.

“It takes time for young talent to grow. It’s not just a name, they’ve got to build a brand,” added Flair.

“Fans have to become attached to the brand and that’s hard to do and it takes more than one or two years. Legends like Steve Austin didn’t just turn up and start talking like that either, it took him time as well.

“Roman [Reigns] has got so much talent that fans are going to have to be patient with him. It doesn’t happen overnight. If people are upset with Roman it’s not over a lack of talent. Fans are always going to have their opinion, but Roman has a fantastic future ahead of him.”
